the desk chronicles

just packing up my table today afternoon. came upon this stack of files (those plastic files that i use to store papers) and just started throwing stacks and stacks of papers away, including those notes from my days in BB Bible Quiz. went thru my report book and realised how irrelevant my sec2 and 3 results r to me now. i could have got gpa 3.0 for them and it wouldnt have made a diff. and i guess soon my sec4 results will also be the same....

really learnt from this that actually a lot of things that i did in the past r just so meaningless, and i would just throw them away a few yrs later w/o any hesitation. even those things like the march camp proposal, which i slogged for ages to do my part for, and many other things. slog for projects the whole yr that individually take up so little percentage in results that i now care so little abt, just 1-2 yrs down the road. even things that i thought i was doing for God's name (BQ). all so meaningless in the end....

God, teach me this lesson and let it stay in my mind. Make this such a strong reminder of my purpose in life. Amen.
